Autism Hero Walk 2026 - TheAutism Alliance of Michigan is hosting its annual fundraising walk event at the Detroit Zoo on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Here's a win-win for everyone in these dark days. I am raffling five pieces of my knitting to those who donate $20 or more to this worthy organization. (I know you are being asked to help so many important causes, which is why I am enticing you with knit wear!)

Our children’s future is more uncertain than ever with educational programs being gutted by the president. The Autism Alliance of Michigan is fundamental in providing resources to people and families like mine.
